How to Add an AI Assistant to a Wix Website

Wix has a built-in Custom Code panel, so adding an AI assistant is just a copy-and-paste — no coding. Here’s how.

First, get your code. Log in to your dashboard → Overview to copy your install code (your unique key is already filled in). The example below uses a placeholder YOUR_PUBLIC_KEY.

Step-by-step

  1. 1In your Wix dashboard, go to Settings → Custom Code (under the Advanced section).
  2. 2Click “+ Add Custom Code”.
  3. 3Paste your code, set “Add Code to Pages” to All pages, and “Place Code in” to Body – end.
  4. 4Give it a name and click Apply.
